From a thousand feet up, this winding creek unfurls into the Battle River, a serpent of water weaving through Alberta's heartland. The late August sun, setting during a flight south from Wetaskiwin, casts elongated shadows that dance across the landscape, sculpting the earth into a canvas of light and dark. It's this view, this altitude, that transforms the familiar into the extraordinary, revealing hidden contours and stories. Each flight is a rediscovery, a fresh perspective on a province that never ceases to captivate and inspire.

Birch Lake is located just south of Innisfree Alberta just off highway 870. A high-up flight north to south over the lake gives a meandering view of the lake, pastures and fields to the south.
